Hello, and thanks for checking me out!  I am new to HubPages, and to littering the internet in general.  I am a serial hobbyist, and thus most of what I write will be about my latest adventures in my quest to fulfill my destiny as a renaissance man.  I may scatter in a few funny pieces as life inspires.  

Thankfully, writing online articles is not my primary source of income (I've seen a few self-proclaimed "poor writers" on here), but rather another hobby in a list that is becoming a little overwhelming.  I make my primary income as an engineer (electrical), but I'm not a good one and don't wear the short-sleeve button-ups yet. I will admit, I thought of getting a pocket protector to celebrate my first employment, but settled for the must-have laniard instead.  As an engineer, I would be remiss if I didn't throw in some science stuff now and then, if for no other reason than to put my co-worker RocketCityWriter (shoutout) in his place.  

P.S. RocketCityWriter, if you're reading this, I didn't mean what I said about not being a good engineer.
